The People’s Committee of Da Nang City has issued a plan to organize the “Wow Da Nang” 2023 Summer Festival program (Enjoy Summer Festival 2023 “Wow Da Nang”) from July 28th to August 1st. The aim is to enhance the richness and attractiveness of Da Nang’s tourism events in 2023, contributing to its position as Asia’s leading festival and event destination. The festival intends to stimulate local demand for Da Nang tourism by introducing and promoting new, diverse, and attractive tourism products, thereby encouraging visitor spending.
The festival’s activities will be held at the East Sea Park and the beaches of Hoang Sa, Vo Nguyen Giap, Truong Sa, Nguyen Tat Thanh, and both sides of the Han River (Bach Dang and Tran Hung Dao streets).
The festival will feature 10 main activities, 2 networking activities, and 4 socialization activities, including the opening ceremony, Vietnam – International Food Festival, check-in space for sand experiences and creations, beach festival, Danang International Hot Air Balloon Festival 2023, International Open Paragliding Tournament, Flashmob Zumba “Wow Da Nang,” tour program “Enjoy Danang Summer,” and Blue Ocean Marine Environment Protection Day.
Additionally, there will be connecting activities such as street dance programs, Han River dance, street music programs, Bai Choi performances, youth art playground, folk dance, hip-hop dance, street theater, the Food and Beer Festival 2023 (B’festival), the show themed “Land of the Sun,” and the beauty check-in contest “Chill with Festival.”
